Captain - Steve Greer, Jr.
Chapin, SC

Steve, Jr. was born in Athens, Georgia. He graduated from Clarke Central High school (Athens, GA) in 1990. He graduated from Valdosta State University in 1995 where he was a member of the football team. He is currently employed with Blanchard Cat of Columbia, SC as Rental Fleet Sales Manager.

He is married to the former Tricia Johansen of Americus, GA and they have two sons, Sam and Drew who will soon join the ranks of the Reel Dawg Fishing Team.

Co-Captain - Mark Covington
St. Simons Is. GA

Captain Mark Covington is a native of Coastal Georgia and employed by Hampton Island Preserve. He is married to Abby and has a daughter (Emma) and an eight year old son (Dawson) who is the Jr. Angler for The Reel Dawg team. There is no doubt fishing is Capt. Mark's passion in life and with his competitive nature tournament fishing is where he's at home.

Steve, Sr. was born in Greer, SC. He graduated from Greer High School (Greer, SC) in 1965. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1970 where he was an All-Sec, All-American selection on the football team. He went to Auburn University where he coached the Defensive ends on the football team until 1978. He returned to the University of Georgia in 1979 and coached defensive ends / defensive line until 1992. Steve is currently the Director of Football Operations at the University of Georgia. He is married to the former Susan Harrill of Greer, SC.

Michael was born in Auburn, Alabama. He graduated from Clarke Central High School (Athens, GA) in 1996. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2002 where he was a member of the football team. Michael is currently employed with Southland Graphics as a sales representative in Athens, GA.

Angler - Jeff Greer
Athens, GA

Jeff was born in Auburn, Alabama. He graduated from Clarke Central High School (Athens, GA) in 1993. He graduated from Valdosta State University in 1999 where he was a member of the football team. Jeff is currently working for Morgan Concrete Company in Athens, GA.

Junior Angler - Dawson Covington
St. Simons Is. GA

Dawson Covington is only eight years of age but don't mistake the fact that he has caught many fish men dream of. At the age of 5 he fished his first SKA tournamnet. He has sence taken 2nd palce honors twice and has a 43lb Kingfish to his credit. He has finished in the top five Jr. Anglers in his division the last three years. Dawson is a great and upcoming tournament angler, watch for many more years of success out of this kid. He is proud to round out the Reel Dawg Fishing Team!

Angler - Robert Bishop
Watkinsville, GA

Robert was born in New Orleans, LA. He graduated from Oconee High School (Watkinsville, GA) in 1996. A graduate of Piedmont College in 2003 and currently employed with the family business (Fifteen Properties) in Watkinsville.
